The chosen candidate will partner closely with the studio design leadership to lead the develop, technical solutions, documentation and interfacing with consultant teams of a 15 member passionate and talented team within an entrepreneurial, collaborative renowned international urban design and architectural major firm, experiencing a team feel with the benefits and resources of a large firm. Description:

As the Lead Project Architect directing the development, construction and technical solutions for primarily domestic medium to large-scale retail/mixed-use projects for the Studio, the responsibilities are:

* Partnering closely with the design leadership to develop constructible solutions

* Ensuring techincal integrity of documents using knowledge of applicable code, life safety systems, standares: in preparation and/or review of design and construction documents

* Perform complex calculations and analytical tasks independently

* Interface and coordinate with consultant teams

* Mentor junior staff an lead in informing technical solutions to design challenges

Requirements:

* Licensed Architect (California Preferred, not essential)

* 15+ years in an architects office * 10+ years experience as a Project Architect

* Primarily domestic experience (California Preferred) * Lead role directing the development and comumentation of large scale (in excess of 300,000 square feet) Retail/Mixed use projects, including shopping centers (Renovation & Ground-up)

* Must have advanced proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office
